Dongguan Benqing Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. Smart home equipment brand Doopoo introduced the all-in-one digital device Doopoo DMP-A1. It is an audio player, DAC, preamp, and headphone amplifier created with the motto “Hear the essence of sound”.
The new product, equipped with the flagship ESS ES9039Spro DAC, processes digital audio PCM 768kHz / 32Bit, plus native DSD512, perceiving almost any audio format available to the doopoo FunplayUI operating system based on Android 12. Full MQA decoding is also available. Your audio library can be located directly on board the DMP-A1 – for this there is a built-in slot for an M2 NVMe SSD drive with a capacity of up to 4 TB.
The dual precision clock generator is designed to allow you to forget about jitter; the third-generation audio processor XMOS XU316 is in signal processing. The device has a completely comprehensive set of digital inputs – optical, coaxial, asynchronous USB, HDMI ARC. The on-board Bluetooth module has not been forgotten either. The 12 V trigger allows you to control compatible devices’ on/off switch.
Furthermore, DMP-A1 is equipped with a dual power supply. A linear source is based on a toroidal transformer for analog circuits and a low-noise pulsed source for the digital part. In this case, the analog part of the device is completely symmetrical. To prevent mutual influence, the unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR analog outputs are made completely independent.
Compatibility
There are also two connection options for headphones – 6.35 and 4.4 mm, and full compatibility with impedances in the range from 16 to 300 Ohms is promised. The new product works with applications for controlling mobile phones and tablets; in addition, there are physical controls, particularly a large volume encoder. It received controlled backlighting with a “smart ring” effect.
Comes with a 5-inch LCD touchscreen. All this is assembled in a massive aluminum case, and milled using CNC equipment.
Doopoo DMP-A1 Availability
